- 4 tbsp (60 ml) margarine
- 1 pkg mock beef
strips (try Yves Beef Veggie Tenders or gardein beefless tips), cut into 2" (5 cm)
- 2 slices crusty white bread
- 1 cup (240 ml) "beef" flavoured
Bisto vegetable stock
the veggie tenders in 2 tbsp (30 ml) of the margarine to brown them. Prepare
the Bisto according to the package
instructions. Lightly toast the bread and spread with the remaining margarine.
Arrange the veggie tenders on the bread and pour the Bisto over them.
Serve with pickles and
mashed potatoes or French fries.
