Pizza - 2 cups (480 ml)all purpose
flour - 1/2 tsp
(3 ml) salt -
1 tsp (5 ml) bread machine yeast - 2/3 cup (180 ml) warm water - 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive
oil - 1 tsp (5
ml) maple syrup - 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce - 1 small onion,
chopped - 5
mushrooms, stemmed and sliced - 15 slices pizza olives - 1 small green pepper,
chopped - 2
Roma tomatoes, sliced - 4 Tofutti Soy Mozzarella
Slices
Combine the flour, salt and yeast and mix well. In a
separate bowl, mix the warm water, olive oil and maple
syrup.
Add
the liquid to the dry mixture and stir with a fork. Place on a lightly floured
surface and knead for about a minute. Place the dough on a plate lightly coated
with olive oil, cover loosely, and put in a warm place for an hour to
rise.
Place
a little olive oil in the centre of a 12 inch (30 cm) pan (or a rectangular pan
of the same area, approximately) and spread the dough out to cover the pan.
Spread the pizza sauce over the dough and add the onion, mushrooms, olives,
green pepper and tomatoes. Bake at 425F (220C)for 15 minutes. Remove from the
oven and quickly add the soy mozzarella. Return to the oven and bake for
another 5 minutes.
