Southern
Dinner This is
a vegetarian version of a southern U.S. dinner with mock chicken and biscuits
with gravy - a delicious and healthy alternative that is easy to make! - 1
pkg Yves Chicken Veggie Tenders - 2 tbsp
(30 ml)vegetable oil - 1 cup (240 ml) frozen corn, defrosted and heated (or
2 cobs of corn) - Cole Slaw -
Gravy, with a pinch of poultry seasoning -
Bisquick mix
Prepare the
cole slaw first and let it chill while working on the other dishes. Next, set
the oven and prepare the dough using half the rolled biscuit recipe on the
Bisquick box. It is actually easier to use
the "drop" biscuit method than rolling it out. While the
biscuits are baking, defrost and heat the corn (or cook the corn on the cob),
sauté the chicken veggie tenders in vegetable oil and make the gravy.
Let the biscuits set for a few minutes after removing from the oven and then
plate them, the veggie chicken and the corn and cover with gravy. Serve the
cole slaw on the side. Serves
